Redundancy, Accident & Sickness Protection

Also known as, Mortgage Repayment Protection. This is an insurance policy that will cover your mortgage repayments if you as an employee are unable to work and remain so for 30 days or more due to accident, sickness or redundancy.

What does Mortgage Repayment Protection cover?

• Accident/Sickness
• Pays the Benefit amount for up to 12 months if you are unable to work due to Accident or Sickness
• Involuntary Unemployment/Redundancy
• Pays the benefit amount for up to 12 months if you are unable to work due to Involuntary Unemployment/Redundancy.

You may chose to cover up to an additional 25% of your mortgage repayments for other mortgage related expenses such as life assurance premiums and household insurance premiums.

To be eligible for cover under this policy you must at the start date:

• Over 18 and under 65
• In full time employment for at least 6 continuous consecutive months
• Have a residential mortgage agreement in force
• Named on the application
• An Irish citizen or granted residency permission in Ireland
• Work in Ireland and permanently reside in ROI.
• Not aware of any impending unemployment or injury.
